Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

What is clinical psycho-neuro-immunology (cPNI)?+

cPNI explores how the mind, nervous system, immune system, hormones and metabolism, among other things, constantly interact. Instead of looking at a single symptom, it searches for the connections behind it — and uses lifestyle factors such as nutrition, sleep and stress as real levers for change.

Does osteopathy involve “clicking” anything into place?+

No. I work almost exclusively with my hands and with gentle impulses. Bones are not “clicked into place”, discs are not “pushed back”. I give the body a nudge — it responds with its own healing mechanisms.

What happens at the first appointment?+

The first appointment lasts one hour. We begin with an in-depth conversation, then I examine you and give you an osteopathic treatment. At the end, you receive concrete recommendations tailored to you — for example on nutrition, sleep or stress.

How many appointments will I need?+

That’s individual and depends on you and what brings you in. At the first appointment, you’ll get an honest assessment. Follow-up appointments often focus on the treatment, complemented by adjusting your measures.

Who is eilo right for?+

For anyone who wants not just to switch off a symptom, but to understand the causes and actively change something. The approach is holistic — and it relies on your willingness to play your part.

What should I bring?+

Comfortable clothing and, if you have them, any relevant medical findings or documents. Above all, though, your story — the more I understand, the better we can work out together where to start.

In which languages are treatments offered?+

Currently mainly German and English – I’m working on my Danish, but in treatments it’s still a little bumpy. :)

What does a treatment cost — and does insurance cover it?+

Each treatment appointment is scheduled for about one hour and costs DKK 850.

My official authorisation as an osteopath in Denmark by the Danish Patient Safety Authority (Styrelsen for Patientsikkerhed) is still pending, so insurance cannot currently cover osteopathic treatment.
